During the 48 hours leading up to your treatment avoid fizzy drinks, caffeine, alcohol, red meat and dairy Try to eat plenty of fruit and vegetables and drink plenty of water. On the day of the treatment have a light meal. Try not to eat or drink too  much an hour before.

Upon arrival for your colonic treatment, you will be taken through a short health questionnaire to establish your suitability for the procedure.  Upon completion, you will be taken to the treatment room where the Libbe colonic machine will be explained to you.

This will involve you being shown how to position yourself on the bed and how to insert the pencil thin rectal tube. The therapist will then leave the room whilst you undress from the waist down, position yourself on the table, insert the rectal tube and then cover yourself with the towel provided.  Once you are ready, the therapist will return and your colonic will begin.

The process will last around 40 minutes. If you require, the therapist can remain with you at all times.  If you would prefer privacy then you can be left alone.  There is a bell should you require assistance at any point.
